Prepare the account information and timing needed for a smoother mobile-number transfer.

Do not cancel the existing service before the number transfer finishes. The number normally must remain active for the previous network to release it.
Continue using the old service until Aelixar reports that the provider has completed the transfer.

Request a valid PAC
UK transfers require the mobile number and a PAC from the current network. A PAC is normally time limited, so request it when you are ready to move.
Enter the PAC exactly as supplied. You may also request a transfer date, subject to provider acceptance.

Submit through the protected journey
Start from Keep My Number so the selected plan retains PORT mode. Transfer credentials are collected during checkout and are not written to browser cookies.
Provider acceptance happens after the paid order reaches fulfilment.
